Jellison Place
About this site
Jellison Place is a dispersed camping area in Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest, situated along Hopley Creek in the Little Belt Mountains. The site offers 10 established camping spots, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. This is a primitive camping experience with vault toilets but no potable water. Visitors must bring their own water supply and pack out all trash. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day stay limit. The area is popular with ATV enthusiasts and provides access to nearby off-road trails, as well as opportunities for horseback riding and picnicking. Bears may frequent the area; mandatory food storage is required with all food kept out of sight in approved containers and removed after eating. Located approximately 25 miles northwest of Harlowton along County Road 102 and Forest Service Road 382.
