Simonette River Campground
About this site
This small riverside campground provides basic amenities like picnic tables, fire pits, water and pit/vault toilets. It is located in Simonette River Provincial Recreation Area, nestled in the deep valley of the Simonette River about 10 km south of Highway 43 on the Forestry Trunk Road, 45 km east of Grande Prairie. There is easy river access for fishing, swimming, or floating, though caution is advised due to changing river conditions. Additional Info: 23 unserviced campsites available first come, first served. Self-registration with cash or cheque. 2025 season: Camping Loop A (sites 1-14) open until October 14.
