Spruce Coulee Campground

Spruce Coulee Campground is in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, 30 km southeast of Medicine Hat on Hwy. 1 and 40 km south on Hwy. 41. This pretty little forested campground sits at the edge of a small lake and has 9 walk-in only tenting sites. Some sites are surrounded by trees and others have lake views. There is a hand launch for boats and trails nearby. It's a nice quiet base for exploring Cypress Hills. Laze on the beach, go boating on the lakes, hike, bike, or enjoy an interpretive program. Spruce Coulee is open year-round, weather permitting. There are reduced services after Labour Day. The water pump is not operational during winter months.
