About this site
Urban campground located on the shores of Lake Charles in Shubie Park, a 16-hectare public park in Dartmouth maintained by Halifax Regional Municipality. Offers 76 serviced sites (6 with 3-way services including power, water, and pump outs; 70 with 2-way services including water and electricity) and 28 unserviced sites. Amenities include supervised beach, 11km of trails, canal walks, dog park, laundry services, coin-operated showers, wireless Internet, store, canteen, and disposal station. Accessible by bus (Route #55 stops 750m away). Open May 15 - October 12.
