Shelter Point Regional Park is a popular beach-front day-use park and campground located on Texada Island. The park is broken down into the main campground and the Bella Maria campground. qathet Regional District proudly operates this family-friendly park. Onsite caretakers Chris Andersen and Kara Fredrickson are available to assist with visitors' needs. The park is open for camping year-round, though many of the facilities are only available during the summer camping season. Additional Info: 52 single campsites, 2 group campsites, and day use picnic area. Off-grid with no power (small generators and solar allowed), piped water, toilets, showers, and concession stand.
