Shaw Flat Trail Camp is a quiet, little-used campground in a mixed-species woodland about a 3-mile hike from the Hoffman Creek Trailhead. It offers 8 backpacking sites, each with a food locker and fire pit (campfires not always allowed). Two pit toilets are available. Water is not provided; filter from nearby creek. Reservations required ($10/night) via Memorial Park ranger; first-come first-served for registered backpackers. Located in Pescadero Creek County Park.
