Senator Wash Reservoir South Mesa LTVA is a BLM-managed Long Term Visitor Area (LTVA) offering dry camping on approximately 50 acres of flat, open desert terrain near the Colorado River with access to gravel beaches and the reservoir. Amenities include restrooms with flush toilets, outdoor showers, drinking water, dumpsters, and an RV dump station. Small watercraft can be launched from shore. Activities include camping, swimming, fishing, OHV riding, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Reservations not accepted; first-come, first-served with a 14-day stay limit. Additional Info: Part of the Imperial Dam LTVA system. $75 annual permit available for access to multiple areas.
