Sawmill Campground at Savage Gulf State Park offers eight backcountry campsites with a max occupancy of six per campsite. Accessed by hiking 5.0 miles via Stone Door, Big Creek Gulf, and Connector trails from Savage Gulf North parking lot, or 4.2 miles via Collins Gulf trail from Savage Gulf South parking lot. Water available from Schwoon Spring. Permit required for backcountry hiking.
