About this site
We are a new equine campground located in Spruce Creek Acres adjacent to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. We have direct access to Spruce Creek community trails as well as over 200 miles of Big South Fork trails. If your horse or mule needs a break, or family members just aren’t into riding, there are plenty of other adventures to be had in the surrounding area. Whether it’s hiking, kayaking, exploring natural or historical landmarks, or just taking it easy, there are so many activities available for the whole family! We have preserved as many trees as possible, so the sites have shade from the hot sun. We offer several long pull-through sites with stalls across the driveway, as well as smaller back-in sites with stalls at the site. All sites have water and electric (up to 30 amps) hookups, and a dump station is available. All stalls are a spacious 12×12 – we have pipe panel stalls while we are busy building the covered and matted stalls. Site prices include up to 6 people per site and 2 licensed vehicles (including all trailer types).
