San Emigdio Campground
About this site
San Emigdio Campground is situated near the entrance to San Emigdio Canyon between the preserve's Administrative Center and The Crossing. The campground includes twelve spacious tent campsites, picnic tables, potable water, flush toilet restrooms, and a dishwashing station. A small creek and pond meanders through the campground and there is plenty of shade provided by large cottonwood trees. Additional Info: Tent camping and camper vans/trucks only (max length 21 feet). No RVs or trailers allowed. Max people per site: 6. Max tents per site: 2. Max length of stay: 4 nights. Parking: 1 car per site (additional parking available upon request). Campsites 1 and 11 are handicap accessible. Propane grills, stoves, and portable propane fire pits are permitted year round. Wood fires only allowed when the fire ban is lifted. Charcoal is prohibited year round. No showers available. No electricity available; no generators allowed.
