Salt Rock State Campground

Salt Rock State Campground sits along a mile of the Shetucket River in southern Connecticut, offering a mix of full-hookup RV sites and primitive tent camping. Two swimming pools, a boat launch, and access to river fishing draw families during the busy summer season. The campground features 57 campsites including 22 electric sites (with sites 1-7 upgraded to 50 amp service), 20 non-electric sites, 13 tent sites, and 2 group camping sites. Amenities include horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, play fields, and trail access. Reservations are managed through Reserve America.
