Rogue River Floater/Hiker Campsites
About this site
Rogue River Floater/Hiker Campsites are primitive sites along the Wild and Scenic Rogue River in the Wild Rogue Wilderness, accessible only by hiking the Rogue River National Recreation Trail or floating the river. These backpacking and boating-only camps offer wilderness camping experiences amid steep terrain, cliffs, and creeks, with no developed facilities. Campers must be self-sufficient, follow Leave No Trace principles, and adhere to group size limits of 12 persons and 9 pack animals. Permits are required for floating the Wild section. A 14-day camping limit applies on public lands.
