Red Canyon Campground, Upper

Red Canyon Campground is a large, well-shaded campground in Cibola National Forest at 7,600 feet elevation in the Manzano Mountains. The Upper Loop contains 11 sites with equestrian corrals and parking for horse trailers, plus a Day Use picnic area available for reservation. The campground offers access to Manzano Wilderness via Red and Spruce Canyon trails on foot or horseback. Picnic tables and grills are available at all sites. No potable water is available. Recreational vehicles longer than 22 feet are not permitted; larger RVs may park at Ox Canyon Trailhead approximately 1.5 miles south.
