This is a free, developed campground offered by Carson National Forest. The campground is actually located in New Mexico, about 8.6 miles south of the border, and about 16.3 miles south of Antonito, CO. However, the nearest town with supplies and fuel is Antonito. Additional Info: 4 developed campsites plus dispersed camping at 8,000 feet elevation with river fishing access. Restrooms (vault toilets) available, reopening for season by May 23. No potable water. Located 15 miles southwest of Antonito, CO via US 285, SR 443, and FR 284.
