RAILROAD CANYON (Campground) Additional Info: Railroad Canyon Campground is located on the north side of New Mexico Highway 35 between mileposts 25 and 26 in Gila National Forest. It serves as the gateway to the Aldo Leopold Wilderness with access to multiple trails. Amenities include pit toilets and picnic tables. No potable water, showers, or hookups available. Small intermittent creek runs through the grounds. Year-round use with no fee required. Stay limit 14 days. Pets must be leashed. Horses not allowed in campground.
