About this site

QUINN SPRINGS RECREATION AREA (Campground) Additional Info: Quinn Springs Pavilion is a covered picnic shelter located on Highway 30 in Cherokee National Forest, about 6 miles south of Etowah and 6 miles north of Benton, Tennessee. The pavilion accommodates up to 50 people and is ideal for family reunions, church picnics, and group gatherings. Named for the natural spring seeping from the mountainside above, the facility is nestled in a grove of large white oaks, hickories, and yellow poplars directly across Highway 30 from the Hiwassee State Scenic River. The pavilion features large and small charcoal grills, with additional picnic sites available nearby for overflow. A vault toilet is on-site, but potable water is not available. Parking is available in a graveled lot. The site is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Nearby attractions include the Hiwassee River (popular for fishing, rafting, and kayaking), Oswald Dome Trail, Fisherman's Trail, Lowery Falls Trail, and the Reliance Historic District.
