Located just in the community of Fort Smith, Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park is the perfect familly campground or homebase for a trip filled with white water kayaking and rafting on the world-class rapids of Slave River. The park has many amenities, including powered campsites and group campsites, showers, washrooms, and a kitchen shelter (by reservation) and fantastic picturesque Trails. - 24 powered campsites - 10 powered group camping site - This park has a maximum stay limit for non-recreational campers - contractors, work crews, and other non-recreational campers are subject to a maximum stay limit of 14 nights within any 30-day period at this campground. For full details and information on requesting an exemption, please refer to our Reservation Rules page. The park office, picnic shelter, picnic day use area, and shower building (including washrooms) are all wheelchair accessible. Additional Info: Located just outside Fort Smith, this large, lushly wooded campground features showers and washrooms, a kitchen shelter, firewood, a playground, and a walking trail leading to great views of the Slave River Rapids.
