What was once a dispersed camping area has now become a popular developed campground with a number of amenities. It's situated along the Whole Enchilada mountain bike trail. The camping area provides breathtaking views of Castle Valley below. Additional Info: Porcupine Rim Campground features approximately 16 individual campsites, each with a picnic table and fire ring. It offers vault toilets but no drinking water; campers must bring their own water and supplies. The site is first-come, first-served with no camping fees, but requires payment of Sand Flats Recreation Area entrance fees. Located off Sand Flats Road near Forest Road 4632, approximately 9.5 miles east of Moab.
