This small facility serves primarily as an OHV staging area with approximately 5 campsites, making it a popular base camp for off-road enthusiasts exploring the challenging terrain of the northern Sierra Nevada. Additional Info: Operates seasonally from June through November, dependent on snowfall and road access. Requires high-clearance vehicle for access via rocky, steep 4x4 trails. Provides access to technical trails including Poker Flat section of Plumas Backcountry Discovery Trail.
