Pines Campground is located 25 miles southeast of Walden in the Gould Area, adjacent to the South Fork of the Michigan River, a scenic mountain stream. It sits at an elevation of 9,200 feet.Pines Campground has 11 campsites. The campground offers drinking water, campfire rings, toilets and has a scenic mountain stream. Keep the pines pristine by remembering to pack out your garbage.This campground is managed by Parks Ranger District in Walden, COPHONE NUMBER: 970-723-8204MAX VEHICLE TRAILER SIZE: 20 feetNOTE: Water is generally not turned on at this campground until mid to late June, campers should come prepared with enough water. MAXIMUM CONSECUTIVE STAY: You may stay up to 14 nights during a visit at this campground Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $20 per night Double Site: $40 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per night Additional Info: Drinking water unavailable on-site; available at nearby Aspen Campground 2 miles away. Vault toilets and trash service available all season. Maximum vehicle length 20 feet. Open June through mid to late October, weather dependent. Reservations available via Recreation.gov.
