Alpen Rose RV Park is a full-service RV park located 5 miles north of downtown Durango in the peaceful Animas River Valley on US Highway 550. The park features 100 full hookup RV sites (30 and 50 amp) with most being pull-through, nestled beneath stunning red rock cliffs with fabulous mountain views. Amenities include free WiFi, a swimming pool, laundry facilities, a 2-acre fenced dog park, propane, a small store, and an on-site cafe serving breakfast daily and pizza. The park is open year-round with reduced rates during winter season (November-March). Pet-friendly with spacious, well-maintained grassy grounds and picnic tables at most sites.
