Mammoth Lakes Basin is located through town, just 5 to 10 minutes drive. The campground is located across the road from Lake Mary on the Northeast side.10 Campsites. Additional Info: Pine City Campground sits at 8,900 feet elevation among lodgepole pine trees. Each of the 10 sites includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and bear-proof food locker. The campground provides flush toilets and potable water from a hand pump. Sites are first-come, first-served with no reservations available. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Dogs must be leashed. Named for one of Mammoth's original 19th-century mining camps, Pine City offers direct lake access and is one of the most sought-after campgrounds in the basin.
