San Simeon Creek Campground is the main campground in Hearst San Simeon State Park, offering 134 campsites for tent camping and RVs up to 35 feet, plus 2 hike-and-bike sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Facilities include water spigots, flush toilets, coin-operated showers, dump station, and RV water fill-up. No hookups available. Located a short walk from the beach with activities including hiking, fishing, surfing, beachcombing, bird watching, and whale watching. Additional Info: Sites 1-35 are more open with ocean and valley views; sites 36-119 offer more privacy among trees. Didn’t stay here but grabbed some pictures of some sites. A bit more close together compared to Washburn sites up the hill. $35 a night so a bit more expensive too. Still beautiful and a great backup to be able to explore Big Sur when you don’t have reservations up there!
