Peavine Creek Campground
About this site
Kingston Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. There 12 campsites, some of which are large enough for full-sized RVs. This campground is located 4.0 miles west of the town of Kingston, and about 33 miles of the City of Austin. Additional Info: Peavine Creek Campground is located along Peavine Creek near the southern boundary of the Arc Dome Wilderness. The creek flows year-round and campsites are nestled within cottonwoods and aspen. Trails leading to nearby Arc Dome wilderness connect to the Toiyabe Crest National Recreation Trail. Open mid-May through late October as weather and conditions allow. Elevation: 6,260 feet.
