Patterson Campground
About this site
Patterson Campground is located on the southern end of the South Warner Wilderness area. This is an ideal site to begin one's hike of the Summit Trail. Patterson is a family camp with only 6 sites for tents and small campers and trailers. Additional Info: Located near Eagleville in Modoc National Forest at approximately 7,100 feet elevation. Adjacent to Patterson Guard Station, a historic cabin available for rent. Equestrian camping not permitted; use nearby East Creek Campground instead. Road access via County Road 64 and Forest Road 39N28, not maintained for winter travel.
