Hawsapple Campground in Paonia State Park has 5-7 primitive campsites next to Muddy Creek, accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs. Parking spaces range from 12 to 35 feet. All sites have picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Amenities include vault toilets, trash collection, dump station, pets allowed, and a boat ramp. Drinking water is not available. Open April/early May to September/early November. Additional Info: Paonia State Park surrounds a narrow reservoir popular for boating and fishing. Hawsapple is on Gunnison County Road 2.
