Rustic state forest campground nestled in a pine forest along the Manistee River with 25 sites for tents and small trailers. Six sites are walk-in for paddlers and North Country Trail hikers. Features vault toilets, hand-pump drinking water, fire rings, and picnic tables at each site. No reservations, first-come first-served. Popular for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, and access to ORV/snowmobile trails. Maximum 15-day stay, one unit and six people per site.
