North Desor Campground
About this site
North Desor Campground is a primitive, hike-in only tent campground located on the north side of Lake Desor off the Minong Ridge Trail on Isle Royale National Park. The campground features eight tent sites with no vehicle or boat access. Sites are spacious and wooded with direct access to the lake via a short but steep hillside trail. The terrain includes forested areas and rocky shorelines. Amenities are minimal: toilets are available but there is no potable drinking water, no showers, no campfires, and no pets allowed. The stay limit is 2 nights from June 1 to Labor Day. The camping season generally runs from mid-May through October. Cost is $2 per night.
