Ojo Escondido Pens has a ramada (shade shelter), picnic table, fire ring, livestock pens, running water and a primitive toilet. The water is piped from nearby Ojo Escondido spring. Escondido Pens includes holding pens for horses and easy access to the Sauceda and Leyva Canyon Trailhead. This site is flat and open, suitable for accessibility accommodations. No electricity available; treat spring water if used. Additional Info: Primitive equestrian staging campsite in Big Bend Ranch State Park near Sauceda Ranger Station, accessible by 2WD road.
