Oakdale Park, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, has been providing recreational opportunities for families since 1925. The park features 120 RV spaces with full hook-ups, 20 tent camping spaces with electricity, and 20-24 cabins. Amenities include a 330,000-gallon swimming pool (Texas' largest RV park pool), two bath houses, meeting rooms with kitchenettes, laundromat, outdoor stage, playground, dog run, dump station, propane filling station, general store, and free WiFi. The park is located across from Big Rocks, a natural water and geological feature, and is within miles of Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. Pets are welcome at RV sites, tent sites, and pet-friendly cabins.
