Oak Bottom Campground

Oak Bottom Campground is the only campground within the boundaries of Whiskeytown NRA located on the shores of Whiskeytown Lake. There are 22 reservable RV campsites and 94 (walk-to) tent-only sites. The RV sites are parking lot slots (no fire rings/pits) and have a 35-foot parking spur. Some of the RV sites may have a picnic table but all are dry (no hookups). The tent sites are all walk-to (ranging from 50 to 250 feet). Each tent site has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers (coin operated), dump station and trash collection. There’s also a camp store, marina, boat ramp, boat-trailer parking lot and a day use picnic area and swim beach. Cell service is good in the area. Additional Info: Operated by a concessionaire and open year-round. One ADA accessible site. Seasonal coin operated showers available within walking distance at Oak Bottom Beach.
