North River Chickee is an elevated 10’ x 12’ wooden platform campsite with a roof along the 99-mile Wilderness Waterway in Everglades National Park. It provides backcountry camping accessible only by boat, canoe, or kayak, with a self-contained portable privy nearby. Additional Info: Requires permit and fees; bring freestanding tent, 1 gallon water per person per day, bug protection, and nautical charts for navigation.
