New River #3 is one of eight primitive campsites in Tate's Hell State Forest, located along an 11-mile stretch of the west side of the New River in Franklin County, Florida. These sites support tent and RV camping with no electricity, water, or restrooms. Activities include bird watching, boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, hunting, and wildlife viewing.
