Free dispersed camping on BLM land near Cotter Mine Road, approximately 30 minutes north of Moab off US Highway 191. Dry camping only with no water, RV disposal, or trash facilities. Plenty of open space to set up camp near existing fire rings. Located near the Copper Ridge Dinosaur Tracksite. Arches National Park is 20 minutes south; Canyonlands National Park is 45 minutes southwest. Road conditions vary; some sections are rocky but manageable for most vehicles. No amenities on-site; water and RV dumps available in Moab.
