Murphy Creek Campground
About this site
Murphy Creek Campground is located 14 miles up from the north end of the Greys River Road at Alpine. Ten campsites are available and there is a 16 day stay limit. Sites accommodate trailers up to 30 feet with one 70 ' pull-through. Water is available as well as a vault toilet; no hookups are provided. Free Motor Vehicle Use Maps help visitors know more about those kinds of opportunities and are available at Forest Service Offices or for download from our website. This webpage also includes info about a free map app for smartphones. Additional Info: Sites are first come, first served with no reservations. Campground operates May 1 to September 30 annually. After closure, water is turned off, bathrooms locked, no trash service, but gate remains open for no-fee use without amenities. 14-day stay limit. Nearby trail follows Hot Foot Creek to Little Greys River.
