MURDOCK BASIN/BROADHEAD MEADOWS (Camping Area) Additional Info: Free dispersed camping area located along Murdock Basin Road in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest near Kamas, Utah. Multiple scattered campsites available on both sides of Murdock Basin Road and along Broadhead Meadows Road, with fire rings and picnic tables at designated sites. Vault toilet available at main staging area. No potable water. Vehicle access requires a recreation pass ($6 for three-day pass). Seasonal access via Mirror Lake Highway (UT-150), which closes in winter. Sites accommodate everything from tent camping to fifth-wheel RVs.
