Muleshoe Bend has THE best bluebonnet fields I’ve ever seen, if you’re lucky enough to arrive in the right window in March/April. I stayed at sites 33 and 34, which are large sites with lots of space between, and it’s legal to drink at LCRA sites, compared to Texas State parks. I believe the toilet situation nearby is just port-a-potties, but obviously the visitor’s center has normal bathrooms. Nearby Shaffer Bend is also an LCRA favorite.
