Moffitt Beach Campground sits next to picturesque Sacandaga Lake. At an elevation of 1,730 feet above sea level, the area is generally flat and well-wooded, with large white pines and hardwoods. The campground features 261 campsites (some designated as accessible for the mobility impaired), picnic area with tables and fireplaces (some designated as accessible for the mobility impaired), picnic pavilion rental, hot showers/flush toilets (one women's and one men's, designated as accessible for the mobility impaired), trailer dump station, recycling center, boat launch, sand beach, bathhouse, and pay telephone.
