Mingus Mountain Campground
About this site
Located in the cool pines atop Mingus Mountain, this campground offers a spectacular view of the Verde Valley, the red rocks of Sedona, the San Francisco Peaks near Flagstaff, and the Mogollon Rim. There are 19 RV sites and 11 tent sites. One loop with five sites is open only when needed for overflow; Neither tent loop has water hydrants, but visitors spending the night may fill water containers in E-Loop or at the Vista Overlook for use within the campground. Fee info: Overnight Use: Tent Site: $10 per night Single Site with electric hook-up: $14 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per night Additional Info: Operates May 1 - October 31. 19 trailer/RV sites with electrical hook-ups (currently not working due to lightning damage). Picnic tables and fire rings at sites. 5 vault toilets. Garbage service. Drinking water available for campground guests for use on site, but not for filling RV water tanks. Dogs must be on leash (6' maximum). First-come, first-served, no reservations. Maximum stay 14 days in 30-day period.
