About this site
Campsites here are spread through a stand of medium-sized ponderosa pines at the end of a road that once brought miners and equipment to the historic Reef mine and townsite. This campground is tucked among pine trees at 7,400 feet and offers spectacular views of Ramsey Peak. It's a perfect destination to soak in the scenery and venture out on a hike from either of the trailheads at the campground. Garbage bins & a horse corral are available. Black bears in area. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $15 per night Double Site: $30 per night Day Use: $8 per vehicle per day $10 per vehicle per week
