Minerva Hinchey Shelter is a hike-in shelter on the Long Trail/Appalachian Trail in Green Mountain National Forest, Vermont. Built in 1969 by Green Mountain Club members as a replacement for an earlier shelter, originally named Sunnyside Camp. Features include a privy, picnic table inside the shelter, fire pit, and wash pit for gray water. Additional Info: Free first-come, first-served. Maximum stay 14 days in any 30-day period.
