Burton Island State Park is located on a 253-acre island off St. Albans Point in Lake Champlain, Vermont. The park offers 14-17 tent sites, 26 lean-to sites, 4 remote tent sites, 3 cabins, 15 boat moorings, and a 100-slip marina. Access is by boat only; no vehicles allowed on the island. Amenities include showers, flush toilets, drinking water, hiking trails, nature center, park store, food service, canoe/kayak rentals, swimming, picnicking, and campfire rings at sites. Additional Info: Season: Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Reservations recommended up to 11 months in advance with $8 fee. Pets allowed except in marina and swimming areas (leashed). No RV sites or hookups.
