Located on the edge of the South Warner Wilderness this campground is nestled in the thick pine forests above Jess Valley at the south end of the Warner Mountains. It's easy access makes for a perfect weekend get away. Additional Info: The campground features 19 single-family campsites best suited for tents, situated at 5,600 feet elevation. Vault toilets and potable water are available. Dogs are welcome on leash. The campground serves as the trailhead for Mill Creek Falls and provides ample parking for day hikers and backpackers. Nearby Clear Lake and Mill Creek offer fishing opportunities, with Clear Lake regularly stocked with rainbow trout. Operating first-come, first-served with a 14-day stay limit and group size limit of 8 people per campsite. Facilities typically open early June through late October, weather permitting.
