About this site
This is an open campground popular with OHV riders and hunters along with some hikers. The campground is located next to Nail Track OHV Area and the Stonyford OHV trail system. It's also close to Bathhouse Trailhead, which is a four-mile trail connecting to Deafy Glade and Snow Mountain Wilderness. Campground accommodates large trailers up to 50 feet. The campground is in a lower elevation nestled among mountains, and the scenery has conifer trees surrounded by chaparral plants and shrubs. Amenities include a vault bathroom, fire rings, and picnic tables. Additional Info: 20 campsites, first-come first-served, $5/night per site plus $5 vehicle fee. Vault toilets (two), picnic tables and fire rings at each site. No potable water. Open year-round. Accommodates up to 50-foot trailers/RVs. Near Grindstone OHV trails and Bathhouse Trailhead. Check-in 2pm, check-out 11am, quiet hours 10pm-6am.
