Middle Fork of the Powder River Campsite 3 is one of five primitive sites at this remote BLM campground along a blue-ribbon trout stream at 7,500 feet elevation. Each site has a fire ring. Amenities include vault toilets and drinking water. Access requires high-clearance 4WD vehicle via rough dirt roads. Free camping with 14-day limit. Open May through September, weather permitting. Additional Info: Seasonal closure in Ed O. Taylor area January 1 through May 14 for wildlife protection.
