About this site
McKeen Brook is a boat-in campsite on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway in Maine. The site consists of 2 campsites, accommodating groups of up to 8 and 4 people respectively. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fireplace, and tarp poles. An outhouse is shared among the sites. Access is by canoe or boat on the Allagash River, with campsites clearly marked by triangular signs when approaching from the water. Group size is strictly limited to 12 persons per campsite cell. Camping fees apply; visit www.maine.gov/allagash for current rates and reservations.
