Backcountry campsite in Yellowstone National Park accessible via the 7-mile Mallard Lake Trail from the Old Faithful area. Permit required for overnight camping. Campfires allowed only in designated campsites within established fire rings. Bear country regulations apply: sleep 100 yards from food storage and cooking areas, store food in approved bear-resistant containers or hang on food pole 10 feet above ground and 4 feet from sides. Carry minimum 35 feet of rope. No pets allowed. Seasonal access May to September.
