Madrone Group Camp

Madrone Group Camp is situated within Samuel P. Taylor State Park, approximately an hour north of San Francisco and adjacent to Point Reyes National Seashore. The group campground can accommodate up to 50 people and is located at the bottom of Mount Barnabe's grassy hills, surrounded by bay, oak, madrone, and redwood trees. The site requires advance reservations and provides a spacious area for group camping with large shade trees and paved parking. Restrooms with coin-operated hot showers, picnic tables, and BBQs are available. The Madrone area also features four rustic cabins, each accommodating up to five people with electric outlets, lighting, wood flooring, covered porch, small electric heater, and four platform bunk beds (mattresses not provided). Outside each cabin: picnic table, fire ring, barbecue grill, water spigot. Easy access to redwood forests, Lagunitas Creek, and hiking trails.
