Open and wooded family campground on Lake Ainslie, the largest natural fresh water lake in Nova Scotia. Located 45 minutes from the Canso Causeway, Cheticamp and Baddeck, 20 minutes from the Cabot Trail, the Margarees and Inverness. 21 overnight sites with 30-amp electrical, water, and sewer hookups available, plus 80 seasonal sites and 3 rental trailers. Amenities include free showers, fireplaces, laundromat, store, propane, pay phone, ice, tea room, ice cream, Wi-Fi, cable TV in recreation hall, playground, darts, swimming in heated pool and lake, dock, and kayak rentals. Daily loon and eagle sightings. Pets on leash welcome. Open May 1 - October 15. Accepts debit cards, MasterCard, and Visa.
