Los Cruzeros Camp
About this site
Los Cruzeros Camps is a backcountry camping area within Henry W. Coe State Park, located 6.1 miles from park headquarters at 1,220 feet elevation. The site consists of 3 campsites in a broad, rocky expanse near where Kelly Cabin Canyon meets the East Fork of Coyote Creek. Campsite #1 is beside Mahoney Meadows Road at the mouth of Kelly Cabin Canyon with partial shade from a large sycamore tree. Campsite #2 is upstream in a bouldery area out of sight of the road. Campsite #3 is further upstream on the north side of the creek. The campsites have little shade overall. Water is available from the creek during rainy season and spring months, but the creek usually dries up in summer; the nearest year-round water source is at Lost Spring Camp, about one mile away and 380 feet higher in elevation. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis with permits required. Amenities include picnic tables and outhouses.
